My Nepali Home,

As I sit down to reflect on my recent journey to Nepal, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible experience I had at Patlekhet Eco Farmhouse. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Patlekhet, this haven became more than just a place to stay; it became my Nepali home.

From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in warmth and hospitality by the owners, who welcomed me with open arms. Their caring nature and easygoing demeanor made me feel like part of the family from the get-go. Throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness, even going as far as fulfilling little dreams like my love for ginger by incorporating it into my daily meals.

Speaking of meals, let me tell you about my culinary delights at Eco Farmhouse. Every dish served was a testament to the richness of Nepali cuisine – delicious, fresh, and bursting with flavors. Among my favorites were the ginger pancakes, a heavenly treat I craved long after my stay.

But it wasn’t just the food that enchanted me; it was the serene ambiance of the place. With its sunny rooftop and covered terrace, Eco Farmhouse offers the perfect blend of sun and shade, making it an ideal spot for everything from yoga and meditation to devouring meals and tackling work assignments. Speaking of work, the reliable Wi-Fi enabled me to navigate my remote tasks without disruptions during video meetings seamlessly.

One of the highlights of my stay was the insightful farm tour, where I learned fascinating tidbits about sustainable agriculture and gained a newfound appreciation for the land. Additionally, a leisurely walk from Namobuddha allowed me to soak in the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, further deepening my connection to this enchanting place.

But what touched me the most was the opportunity to immerse myself in Nepali culture. From attending Saraswati Puja and School’s 61st Anniversary at Hanuman Secondary school to witnessing mesmerizing dance performances, each interaction left me enriched and enlightened. And let’s not forget the countless conversations I shared with the family, where I got invaluable insights into farming practices, Nepali traditions, and life itself.

As I bid farewell to Patlekhet, my heart is heavy with sadness yet brimming with gratitude for the memories I’ve made. Eco Farmhouse will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I hope to return someday to relive the magic again. Until then, I carry the warmth of Nepali hospitality and the promise of future adventures.
